1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and NordDelta Technologies AB, a company incorporated under Swedish law ("NordDelta Academy", "Company", "we", "us"). Our registered address is in Stockholm, Sweden.

By creating an account, purchasing a course or subscription, or otherwise accessing any part of the NordDelta Academy platform at norddelta.academy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity, and in that case "you" refers to that entity. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the platform.

Users must be at least 16 years of age. Users under 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Services Description

NordDelta Academy provides an online learning platform delivering professional technical education courses in industrial automation, renewable energy, drone technology, and related engineering disciplines. Our services include:

  • On-demand video lectures, interactive labs, and downloadable reference materials.
  • Automated assessments, quizzes, and project evaluations.
  • Verifiable completion certificates upon successful course completion.
  • Community discussion forums and peer learning features.
  • Corporate team management dashboards (Team and Enterprise tiers).
  • Live instructor-led sessions (Enterprise tier and as separately purchased add-ons).

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not materially reduce core functionality of a paid subscription without giving you the option to cancel and receive a pro-rata refund.

3. Account Registration

To access most platform features, you must create an account by providing your name, a valid email address, and a password. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
  • Maintain the security of your password and not share your login credentials with any other person.
  • Notify us immediately at support@norddelta.academy if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
  • Take responsibility for all activity occurring under your account, whether or not authorised by you.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, share credentials, or violate these Terms. One account per individual is permitted; creating multiple accounts to circumvent access restrictions or refund policies is prohibited.

4. Course Access & License

Upon purchasing a course or active subscription, NordDelta Academy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the course content for your own personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.

This licence expressly does not include:

  • Sharing your account or login credentials with any other person.
  • Downloading, reproducing, distributing, or publicly displaying course materials.
  • Using course content for commercial training, resale, or redistribution.
  • Screen-recording, scraping, or otherwise capturing course content in bulk.
  • Creating derivative works based on our course content without prior written consent.

Individual course purchases grant lifetime access to that specific course. Subscription access is valid only while your subscription remains active and in good standing.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the NordDelta Academy platform — including but not limited to video lectures, written materials, lab exercises, software simulations, diagrams, assessments, logos, trademarks, and the underlying platform software — is the exclusive intellectual property of NordDelta Technologies AB or our licensors, and is protected by Swedish and international copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit regarding our platform may be used by us without restriction or compensation, and you waive any moral rights in such submissions.

The NordDelta Academy name, logo, and all associated marks are trademarks of NordDelta Technologies AB. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the platform in any way that:

  • Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Infringes the intellectual property rights of NordDelta Academy or any third party.
  • Involves sharing, selling, or transferring your account access to another person.
  • Involves using automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access or extract content.
  • Attempts to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems or infrastructure.
  • Harasses, abuses, or threatens other users or NordDelta Academy staff in community forums.
  • Posts false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews or course completion records.
  • Circumvents or attempts to bypass any digital rights management or access control mechanism.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension, termination without refund, and where appropriate, legal action.

7. Payments & Refunds

Pricing: All prices are listed in Euros (EUR) and are exclusive of VAT where applicable. VAT is charged at the rate applicable in your country of residence for digital services (EU VAT Directive 2006/112/EC). Prices are subject to change; changes will not affect active subscriptions until the next renewal period.

Payment Processing: Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. NordDelta Academy does not store card details on its servers.

Subscriptions: Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-period refunds are issued for cancelled subscriptions unless within the 30-day guarantee window below.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us at support@norddelta.academy within 30 days of your initial purchase date. We will issue a full refund to your original payment method. This guarantee applies to first-time purchases of each product only and excludes Team/Enterprise contracts negotiated separately.

Late Payments (Team & Enterprise): Invoices are due net-30 from issue date. Overdue amounts accrue interest at the Swedish Reference Rate plus 8 percentage points per annum (Räntelagen 1975:635).

8. Certificates

Upon successfully completing all required modules and passing the final assessment with the minimum required score (typically 70%), you will be issued a digital completion certificate. Certificates include:

  • Your full name as registered on the platform.
  • The course title, completion date, and total learning hours.
  • A unique verification URL and QR code allowing third parties to confirm authenticity.
  • The NordDelta Academy seal and, for Enterprise customers, co-branding as agreed.

Certificates represent the completion of educational content only. They are not professional licences, regulatory certifications, or equivalents to accredited academic qualifications unless otherwise stated. For regulated activities (e.g., drone operations under EASA), you must obtain the relevant regulatory approval from the appropriate national authority.

Misrepresenting a NordDelta Academy certificate as a regulatory credential is a violation of these Terms and may constitute fraud under applicable law.

9. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that the technical information in our courses is complete, accurate, or current as of any particular date, or that it will produce specific outcomes when applied in a real-world engineering context.

Course content is developed for educational purposes by subject matter experts and is reviewed regularly, but engineering environments vary and you should always comply with applicable local regulations, standards, and the instructions of qualified professionals before implementing any technique learned on this platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY SWEDISH LAW, NORDDELTA TECHNOLOGIES AB AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Stockholm, Sweden. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through direct negotiation for a period of 30 days. Contact us at legal@norddelta.academy to initiate this process.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
  • Send an email notification to all registered users at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
  • Display a prominent notice within the platform.

Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must cease using the platform and, if applicable, cancel your subscription before the effective date.
